John MacLellan believed the photograph showed the Mercedes facing west and a dark area containing himself, Pugliese, and the older brother during an attempted arrest. Pugliese described the image as fuzzy and only tentatively identified the SUV and himself. The court admitted the photograph over an objection to its authentication through MacLellan.
