Pipe-bomb-type devices thrown during the gunfight

Joseph Reynolds described a device thrown toward him and Sergeant MacLellan that landed in Laurel Street and exploded, followed by additional pipe-bomb-type devices being lit and thrown. He believed two additional devices exploded but was uncertain how many had been thrown. He could not identify the throwers.
