Jennifer Joyce-Maybury said she took three months of unpaid leave to help Jeffrey Bauman and his mother travel from Chelmsford to Boston daily for treatment and therapy. During jury selection, Chelmsford also arose as a prospective juror's residence and the place where another juror's son had played Little League with Bauman.
