About

Alan Mednick testified for the prosecution on Day 32, authenticating surveillance footage and photographs from Memorial Shell at 820 Memorial Drive in Cambridge. Under William D. Weinreb's questioning, the station owner described its layout and 16 security cameras and confirmed that the surveillance compilation accurately represented portions of the footage he supplied.

Mednick described receiving an urgent call around 12:30 a.m. and arriving around 1 a.m. He replayed footage for a Cambridge detective and a state trooper, made flash-drive copies, and printed an image. He later replayed and copied footage for two FBI agents. During courtroom playback, he described a figure moving toward the store and a person running across River Street to the Mobil station, without identifying either by name.

Mednick distinguished an added black circle from the original recording. His timing testimony included unreconciled references to April 19 for the call and April 18 when discussing the recording. Exhibits 742 through 750, including a map, photographs, the surveillance compilation, and two stills, were admitted without objection. The defense declined cross-examination, and he was excused.
