About

David Sacco testified for the prosecution on Day 31 about dispatching MIT police on April 18, 2013. He said that around 10:20 p.m., a caller reported possible gunshots or loud banging and a police car outside. Sacco dispatched Officer Sean Collier but received no response, then made further attempts to reach him by radio and cell phone. Sergeant Henniger's subsequent officer-down report prompted ambulance and agency notifications.

Sacco also described surveillance footage he reviewed with Matthew Isgur. He said it showed two figures walking from Main Street to Collier's cruiser and returning by the same route, but he did not identify them. He used campus photographs and diagrams to explain the location and brought Isgur to the command post so personnel could see the video.

During Steven Mellin's direct examination, the court admitted two audio recordings, two photographs and two diagrams; both recordings were played. Sacco acknowledged limits to his account, including not knowing the ambulance's response time and estimating when he left the station. The defense declined examination.
