New York
Dun Meng testified that a captor asked whether his car could travel out of state to New York; Meng said it could but concealed that it had GPS because he believed they intended to travel farther. In closing argument, Aloke Chakravarty argued that the brothers' remaining bombs, retrieval of a nasheed CD, and fuel and snack preparations indicated plans to carry out further bombings in New York. Stephen Silva separately testified that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev had visited New York a few times, but he did not know how often or whether Tsarnaev went in February 2013.
