410 Norfolk Street
Investigators searched the Tsarnaev family apartment at 410 Norfolk Street in Cambridge, including a second search on May 5, 2013, and seized a desktop computer and physical items examined for fingerprints. David McCollam testified that some apartment filters contained pyrotechnic residues, which his analysis did not quantify, and that four samples contained small grains of black powder. He also identified residues consistent with pyrotechnic material on gloves from a Honda CR-V parked outside; Mark Spencer confirmed that the seized desktop had multiple users.

About
Prosecutors argued that bombs may have been built at least partly at the apartment. The defense challenged comparisons between household tapes and sealants and bombing debris; the government acknowledged that these established consistent class characteristics, not source-specific matches. Dzhokhar's residence there was also disputed in discovery and exhibit-label arguments.
